AMERICA PRAYER VIGIL (November 23, 2024) *PRAYER*

Since you have been raised to new life with CHRIST, set your sights on the realities of heaven, where CHRIST sits in the place of honor at GOD’s right hand. Think about the things of heaven, not the things of earth. For you died to this life, and your real life is hidden with CHRIST in GOD. And when CHRIST, Who is your life, is revealed to the whole world, you will share in all His glory.

So, put to death the sinful, earthly things lurking within you. Have nothing to do with sexual immorality, impurity, lust, and evil desires. Don’t be greedy, for a greedy person is an idolater, worshiping the things of this world. Because of these sins, the anger of GOD is coming. You used to do these things when your life was still part of this world. But now is the time to get rid of anger, rage, malicious behavior, slander, and dirty language. Don’t lie to each other, for you have stripped off your old sinful nature and all its wicked deeds. Put on your new nature and be renewed as you learn to know your CREATOR and become like Him. In this new life, it doesn’t matter if you are a Jew or a Gentile, circumcised or uncircumcised, barbaric, uncivilized, slave, or free. CHRIST is all that matters, and He lives in all of us.

Since GOD chose you to be the holy people He loves, you must clothe yourselves with tenderhearted mercy, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience. Make allowance for each other’s faults and forgive anyone who offends you. Remember, the LORD forgave you, so you must forgive others. Above all, clothe yourselves with love, which binds us all together in perfect harmony. And let the peace that comes from CHRIST rule in your hearts. For as members of one body, you are called to live in peace. And always be thankful (Colossians 3:1-12).

FATHER GOD;

Praise the LORD. Give thanks to the LORD, for He is good; His love endures forever (Psalm 106:1).

In this season of Thanksgiving, may we remember to thank GOD for Who He is, for the things He has done, and for His great love for us that He gave His only Son JESUS CHRIST to die for our sins.

JESUS, Victorious, won the battle over sin and death by giving His all for us. We should do the same for Him by putting aside the sinful, earthly things in this world and devoting our lives to godly living.

LORD, we are inundated with messages that promote worldly behavior. Help us tune out content on social media, the radio, magazines, movies, conversation that is not edifying to you. May we not be lulled into worldly thinking or choose to overlook ungodly habits that do not honor You.

Help us live lives filled with tenderhearted mercy, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience. May we make allowance for each other’s faults and forgive anyone who offends us.

We cannot do this on our own. This only comes from reading and meditating on Scripture, attending church and having fellowship with believers, listening to uplifting music, and occupying our time with things that draw us close to You.

“Do not conform to the pattern of this world but be transformed by the renewing of your mind” (Romans 12:2).

Protect President Trump/JD Vance and all the men and women he is nominating for his Administration. We pray especially for Elon Musk. May he know You as “Daddy”. Draw him to You, LORD. May Elon know the love of GOD and be saved.

Have mercy upon our nation during this perilous time. The Biden Administration, Democrats, liberal Republicans, and world powers are scurrying to cause chaos and destruction before President Trump takes office. Do not let them succeed. Stop their schemes and may their evil plans be turned on them.

We know it is the evil one who operates through our enemies. May Satan be bound in them in the name of JESUS and souls be set free.

In JESUS’ Name we pray. AMEN.
