It might be time to put it to the test, as this new optical illusion has left even the most seasoned puzzlers scratching their heads.

In this tricky brainteaser, puzzlers are challenged with spotting an anomaly hidden in a sea of seemingly identical words - but can you locate it in seconds?

Created by MyExcelOnline, the puzzle features multiple repetitions of the word 'Excellent.'

Challengers are tasked with locating the misspelled word in less than 35 seconds - can you beat the clock and prove you have excellent vision?

While it may seem like a relatively easy task, the puzzle is designed to catch you off guard.

At first glance, it's deceptively challenging, as our eyes are accustomed to quickly scanning images, making it harder to spot hidden details.

The bright purple background, combined with what appears to be dozens of 'Excellents' displayed in a white font, adds a further layer of difficulty to the puzzle as it tricks your eyes into thinking the image is busier than how it truly is.

Have you located the misspelled word before the timer is up? Congratulations! You have enviable eyesight.

If you are still looking in an attempt to find the answer, it is perhaps likely that you have been unable to solve the teaser within the time limit.

Still struggling to find the anomaly? Take a final look before the answer is revealed below.

Fancy having a go at another tricky challenge? A brainteaser reportedly used during interviews for Harvard University has stumped 90 percent of people who attempt it.

The image, shared on social media, shows the university's letterhead with a mathematical problem written in red and black ink.

The question asks, 'if there are seven men with seven wives and each man and each wife have seven children, what is the total number of people?'

But unlike most brainteasers, this one has two answers.
