It’s inevitable at this point … Colorado will eventually win a natty under Deion Sanders.
Julian Lewis, a five-star quarterback who is listed as the 2025 ESPN 300 No. 2 recruit, announced his commitment Thursday to Deion Sanders and the Colorado Buffaloes. It’s a huge get for the Buffs, one that could see them land a transformational prospect in their Class of 2025 pickups. Lewis committed to the Buffaloes during Thursday’s edition of “The Pat McAfee Show,” making it official only four days after he de-committed from the USC Trojans. When the early signing period kicks off Dec. 4, Lewis will ink his deal with Colorado. Then, in January, he will make the move to enroll with the school, per ESPN.
“I’m excited for the opportunity to get to work and compete,” said Lewis to the four-letter network. “Colorado wasn’t recruiting me until I reclassed, so it really was perfect timing. This is only the beginning. I trust Coach Prime and [offensive coordinator Pat] Shurmur to help me become the player that I want to be.”

Deion Sanders has proved two things this season: 1. He’s actually a good coach who can win games, and 2. He’s a hell of a recruiter who can land elite 5-stars.
I think it’s about time we start counting down to a Colorado national championship, because it’s coming.
