DIA has launched Lasernet on the Ethereum (ETH) testnet, pioneering the first Layer-2 rollup designed specifically for oracle infrastructure, according to the latest information shared with Finbold on Wednesday, November 27.
The innovative deployment should raise the bar for trustless, permissionless, and decentralized data delivery in blockchain applications. Developers can now test both pull- and push-based oracles on Ethereum Sepolia ahead of Lasernet’s mainnet release in Q1 2025.
DIA’s new oracle stack ‘Lumina’ espouses modularity, fostering collaboration and leveraging advanced blockchain technology like Optimism’s OP Stack, Conduit, Hyperlane, and Celestia.
Optimism’s OP Stack supports enterprise-grade scalability, enabling on-chain oracle data computation while preserving data verifiability, immutability, and trustlessness.
Fahim Sachedina, Partnerships Manager at Optimism, praised the collaboration, stating:

Conduit upgrades DIA’s rollup deployment and management, ensuring operational efficiency and reliability.
