Donald Trump Jr. says podcasters may be in White House press room’s future

Donald Trump Jr. suggested that his father, President-elect Donald Trump, would boot legacy media out of the White House briefing room in favor of podcasters.
“We had the conversation,” he said, “about opening up the press room to a lot of these independent journalists. … Why not open it up to people who have larger viewerships, stronger followings?”
He said the idea of switching out mainstream media outlets for podcasters like Joe Rogan “may be in the works.”

Absolutely! Cut the corporate media out. Stop treating them like they are legitimate. Stop doing interviews with them. Stop agreeing to schedule your debates on their outlets. Stop giving them places at the White House press room. Just cut them out like the untrustworthy and irrelevant propaganda outlets that they are.

Rogan, Daily Wire, etc. and they’re the ones that have audiences so it’s they, not the MSM, that get the interviews.MSM is in bad shape and this would be a stake in the heart (figuratively)

I was disappointed in the first Trump term when he was at that time supposed to ignore all the fake news MSM and only pick Fox, OAN, Newsmax and other local conservative outlets this was back when Sean Spicer was his press secretary that ended way too soon. Did he quit or get fired? Seems Trump went through a slew of press secretaries in those 4 years
