The terrifying moment a house in Ohio completely exploded - killing two people and injuring another - was captured on a neighbor's doorbell camera.
Fire officials responded to the Bethel home early Tuesday morning where they were met with heavy debris and a raging fire.
'Roughly 9 o'clock am, I was sleeping, got woke by a huge explosion, Derrick Gullet, a neighbor, told WCPO. 'Fell out of bed, come outside, seen a gentleman running from the residence that was currently working in the residence. It's shocking. His hair was still on fire when he was out.'
The neighbor also told the outlet that the man said he'd been working inside on the home's furnace when 'all of a sudden it popped and exploded'.
Dramatic video footage showed the camera shaking from the sheer force of the explosion as the home just across the street completely blew up - sending debris shooting into the air and all over the neighborhood.
'I heard a boom, Stephanie Young, another neighbor, told WLWT. 'You could feel it; it was louder than any boom I've ever heard. This was undeniably loud. A mess. Just everywhere.'
The doorbell footage captured the aftermath of the scene, which neighbors described as chaotic - with debris seemingly falling out of the sky as if it were raining, nearby lawns and streets becoming absolutely littered and dust, and smoke saturating the air.
The cause of the explosion is under investigation but officials did confirm that two people - a man and a woman - were killed while a third man was taken to UC Medical Center with burn injuries.
