Hebrew University professors slam decision to grant Herzog honorary degree

President Isaac Herzog should not be the recipient of an honorary degree from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, some professors at the university claimed, KAN News reported on Friday. 

Those who opposed the move stated that Herzog had not acted against the judicial reform and did not hold a firm position with regard to the return of the hostages. 

This comes as the university's senate voted on Wednesday in favor of granting the president an honorary degree.
