In the first 12 hours of the ceasefire between Israel and Lebanon, Hezbollah has already violated the agreement twice with a swift response from the IDF.

From the implementation of the truce, which was set to begin at 4:00 a.m. on Wednesday morning, Hezbollah twice approached areas that were barred from them according to the agreement.

On the first day of the ceasefire between Israel and Lebanon, Israel Defense Forces (IDF) soldiers arrested four Hezbollah operatives, including a local commander, in southern Lebanon. The arrests occurred after the suspects entered a restricted area in violation of the ceasefire terms, according to a statement from the Israeli Prime Minister’s Office (PMO).

The Israeli air force used precision strikes to fire at terrorists in southern Lebanon on Thursday after IDF troops identified two terrorists arriving at a known terror base, which had acted as a launch point for dozens of rockets toward Israel, the IDF said in a statement Thursday evening.
As a result, the IDF has remained in southern Lebanon, and reportedly also conducted two strikes in Sidon.
A ceasefire between Israel and Lebanon went into effect Wednesday morning.
The settlement of the Gaza Strip should be the response to the October 7 massacre and the ICC arrest warrants, United Torah Judaism head MK Yitzhak Goldknopf said during a visit to the Gaza border area on Thursday, Israeli media reported.
