If WWIII breaks out, does it indicate the nonexistence of God?

I ask for this reason:
The Book of Revelation, although full of images that can be kind of hard to define, seems to lay out a sequence how God plans to bring this world to its conclusion.
We're supposed to see the revealing and rise of the Antichrist first, as well as many other signs in the heavens and on Earth. Massive nuclear destruction in which most of the world's population is killed does NOT (at least in my thought) jibe with what the Bible says.
I'm not even going to touch on the Rapture, whether you believe in it or not. It just doesn't seem to me that God would have a massive nuclear war break out which discounts what is written in His Word.
If WWIII DOES happen, what does that say about His existence? If the world's end doesn't coincidence with what the Bible says is supposed to happen, what does it say about what we've believed for thousands of years?
I believe that God is REAL, and that Jesus came down from Heaven, died for pur sins, and rose again so we could join Him one day. I do NOT want a nuclear war to happen. But...if one does, what does that tell us? If the book of Revelation doesn't happen because we're all dead, what does that say about our beliefs?
I am scared because of what's happening right now. I write this down because it is at the forefront of my thinking, and I'm dreading whay may happen. I have been praying (as I'm sure many others are) that this doesn't go nuclear, and that tensions get eased.
