The arrests have been marked by severe abuses, including administrative detentions and field executions.

The Palestinian Prisoners Club reported Friday that most of the arrests occurred in the al-Khalil and al-Quds governorates.

Over 10,000 administrative detention orders were issued during this period, with 11,000 detainees currently held without trial or charge under Israel's administrative detention policy.

This policy allows detention without trial for up to six months, renewable indefinitely.

Among those detained are more than 440 women, 795 children, and 141 journalists.

Of the journalists, 59 remain in custody, including five women and 33 from Gaza.

Rights groups have highlighted widespread abuses accompanying these arrests, including severe beatings, threats, home destruction, and the confiscation of personal property.

Detainees have reportedly been used as human shields, while families were held hostage for extended periods.

The Israeli forces have also carried out field executions, including against family members of prisoners, the group said.

Since October 7, 2023, Israeli raids and attacks in the West Bank have intensified, with at least 809 Palestinians killed and over 6,450 injured by Israeli army fire, according to the Palestinian Health Ministry.

The violence has been compounded by attacks from illegal Israeli settlers.

Meanwhile, Israel continues to withhold the bodies of 47 Palestinian prisoners who died in its custody.

Israel’ brutal military offensive in Gaza has resulted in the deaths of at least 44,875 Palestinians, primarily women and children, with thousands still missing under rubble.

The International Court of Justice has declared Israel's occupation of Palestinian territories illegal, demanding the removal of settlements in the West Bank and East Jerusalem al-Quds.
