Kamala staffers promised payment till year end get cut off as campaign seeks to pay off debt: report

Staffers working for Kamala Harris who were promised to be paid through the end of the year on the campaign are seeing their payments get cut off as the Harris camp has gone into debt despite being given more than $1 billion in funding.
The Vice President is still making appeals to donors, asking for more money even though the election is over and she lost, per Politico. Adrian Hemond, a Michigan-based Democratic strategist told the outlet, “The Harris campaign certainly spent more than they raised and is now busy trying to fundraise."
The Democratic Party has been using Harris' email list, sending appeals to small-dollar donors asking for more cash. The campaign has also gotten in contact with larger donors in order to shore up funds to pay their debts.
Senior staff members who were promised payment through to the end of the year have been getting their paychecks terminated, and the debt stacked up by the Harris camp has been blamed. As of Saturday, many of the staff members were faced with getting cut off. After the backlash that has ensued from the decisions, the Harris campaign said that health insurance for those impacted would still be covered through the year, per the outlet.

Kamala actually spent over 2 Billion dollars. There was over 1 Billon dollars of PAC money spent on her behalf, in addition to her direct campaign funds.

Harris burned through ONE BILLION dollars in just 100 days. That is TEN MILLION DOLLARS every single day of the campaign.
