ESPN college football Analyst Kirk Herbstreit appears to have a new four-legged companion shortly after his iconic dog, Ben, sadly passed away.
Ben became an icon and fan favorite as he joined Herbstreit through his constant travels.
Every week, the ESPN talent follows Thursday Night Football games around the nation, watches his son's high school games on Friday nights, hosts College Gameday on Saturday mornings, and calls headlining college football games for ABC on Saturday nights.
His beloved dog remained by his side and made appearances on national TV amid Herbstreit's busy schedule until Ben sadly passed on Nov. 7 after a decade-long battle with cancer.
On Saturday, before College GameDay went live from Athens ahead of the showdown between No 7 Tennessee and No 12 Georgia, Herbstreit's other Dog, Peter, enjoyed a stroll on set.

In a video posted on Herbstreit's X account, the golden retriever mingled with Pat McAfee and crew on the broadcast desk. McAfee is also seen barking at Peter, leading the dog to wag his tail in excitement.
'Look at this guy!!! Making himself right at home,' Herbstreit captioned with laughing emojis.
After Ben's passing, Peter had his trial run to see if the puppy was ready to join Herbstreit on the road for the rest of the season.
The Herbstreit family welcomed Peter in December, with Kirk referring to him as 'Ben's little brother,' in a social media post.
'A lot of you have asked about Ben's new 'little brother,' he wrote with a picture of a young Peter. 'Here he is-Peter 9 weeks old. Ben slowwwwly warming up to him.'
