Lauren Sánchez, 54, got emotional during an Amazon Live when she was asked a touching question by a fan who was tuning in.
On Monday, the former Fox 11 News at Ten anchor sat down with model Ashley Graham for a Q&A about her new children's book, The Fly Who Flew To Space.
During the 30-minute livestream, the two took questions from viewers, which included one that had Sánchez tearing up.
Towards the end of the stream, a fan named Caitlin asked the mogul the advice she would give her younger self.
'I would tell my younger self that you're not dumb,' Sánchez admitted as she began to get emotional.
'It's like, you know, you're a little girl, and you're always thinking that, and you just kind of want to pick her up,' the businesswoman admitted.
'I say that's what this book was for when I was writing it, it's the 54-year-old me hugging that eight year old girl, saying, "You're gonna be okay."'
By this point, the pilot was visibly looking a bit upset, as her eyes began to look shiny.

On Monday, the former Fox 11 News at Ten anchor sat down with model Ashley Graham for a Q&A about her new children's book, The Fly Who Flew To Space
'Sorry, a little emotional,' she said.
Graham quickly comforted her friend, who said that she 'loved' Sánchez's sentiment.
She also offered up her own advice.
'What I would say to my younger self is very similar in the sense of, you're not inadequate, you have the tools, just use them,' Graham said.
'I think it's hard to remember those things as you have little kids, as you're growing businesses, as you're building new relationships and friendships, it's a constant.
'I think I still say that to myself, to be honest.'
Sánchez then added that those 'insecurities never go away,' and we simply had to learn how to 'push them to the side a little bit.'
Interestingly enough, this is not the first time that the former Good Day LA cohost has opened up about her struggles.

During a September appearance on Good Morning America, Sánchez, who is currently engaged to Amazon billionaire Jeff Bezos, was left holding back tears
During a September appearance on Good Morning America, Sánchez held back tears as she recalled the moment when a teacher helped her realize that she wasn't 'dumb' after she spent decades struggling with undiagnosed dyslexia.
She shared similar sentiments on the talk show as she did on Amazon Live.
Opening up to host Michael Strahan, Sánchez began: 'This book is for my eight-year-old self who really felt "dumb."
'And I did, I sat in the back of the class, I was quiet and they pushed me along in public school.
'I really, really wanted to be a journalist, it's all I wanted to be, and I thought, I can't write, it was horrible.'
The glamorous star then became overwhelmed with emotion as she recalled the moment when she was able to better pursue her dream job thanks to the help of a teacher who asked her to write for the school paper.
'I said, "I can't really write,"' the brunette beauty recalled.
'[The teacher] said, "Just write without thinking about spelling or punctuation."'
Her Amazon Live appearance came just two days after the mogul posted a sexy selfie on her Instagram story on Saturday
Sánchez also shared during the appearance that some proceeds from the book would go to the International Dyslexia Association, which helps diagnose children at a younger age
At that point, Sánchez became teary eyed and had to pause to get control of her emotions before she continued: 'Every time I talk about this, I get emotional.'
The former journalist added: 'I don't remember what the story was about. She literally looked at me after I turned it in, and she was like, "You are not dumb, you just can't spell," and she got me tested for dyslexia.
'This was community college teacher who took an interest in me. I went from a 2.0-[GPA] student who was barely making it to a 3.8, got into USC and became a journalist.'

Her Amazon Live appearance came just two days after the mogul posted a sexy selfie on her Instagram story on Saturday.
She showed some skin in the short, low-cut dress with knee-high black boots and and a red trench coat hanging off her shoulder.
The former journalist also showcased her love for her billionaire beau as she sported a diamond letter 'B' necklace - a nod to her soon-to-be status of being Mrs. Bezos.
