Blues Continue Great Away Form With Another Win

Goals from Nicolas Jackson and Enzo Fernández were enough for Chelsea to seal another win in 2024-25. Look back at the key moments from the Premier League clash at the King Power Stadium with our Leicester vs Chelsea stats page.

Chelsea continued their strong start to 2024-25 with a 2-1 away win over Leicester City thanks to goals from Nicolas Jackson and Enzo Fernández.

Jackson scored his seventh Premier League goal of the season, which is already halfway to last season’s tally (14). His first-half strike was expertly placed past Mads Hermansen on the volley after Fernández had found him in the box.

The Senegalese forward has now scored 24 goals for Chelsea in 57 games across all competitions since the start of last season – only Cole Palmer (32) has more for the club in that time.

Fernández doubled Chelsea’s tally in the 75th minute with a goal of his own. After Hermansen saved well from Jackson’s header, the ball popped up for the Argentine midfielder to head the ball into the back of the net to seal Chelsea’s win.

It was his first goal for the club since February, while it was the first time that he’d both scored and assisted in a competitive match for the Blues.

Leicester scored a consolation goal from the penalty spot deep into injury time through substitute Jordan Ayew, but that was their only shot on target in the entire match.

With this victory, Chelsea have now won more points away in the Premier League this season (13 in six games) than they have at Stamford Bridge (nine in six games).
