Mayor Johnston declared war on Trump and said he will use city police and local volunteers to physically prevent the deportation of illegal immigrants, including those with potential gang affiliations.

Mayor Johnston is a danger to his constituents. Elections have consequences.
"Johnston unapologetically declared his intention to turn Denver into a fortress of resistance against immigration enforcement, framing his actions as a moral crusade.
“We won’t change that, because those are one of our core values."
“I think we are gonna continue to be a welcoming, open, big-hearted city that’s gonna stand by our values,” Johnston added.
Apparently, protecting illegal alien rapists is considered a "core value" by the mayor of Denver.
