Mike Tyson has landed a new acting role just days after his fight with Jake Paul, reports say.

The boxing icon lost via unanimous decision over the weekend, with Paul superior throughout their clash.

Tyson suggested he was open to more boxing fights in the future in the immediate aftermath of the bout, with the 58-year-old calling out Logan Paul.

However, he's since described his defeat to Paul as his 'last' fight and he's not currently expected to return to the ring again.

As well as being a boxer, Tyson has also dabbled in acting in the past.

He previously appeared in 2009's The Hangover, which also starred the likes of Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms and Zach Galifianakis.

And Tyson made a cameo in the sequel, The Hangover 2, which hit screens in 2011.

Now, according to Deadline, the boxing icon has landed a role in Bunny-Man, which is an Italian superhero film.

They say the film follows 'an anonymous multimillionaire superhero who strikes against evil forces while wearing a rabbit mask'.

They add: "He is driven by the desire to avenge his sister who committed suicide after being attacked, images of which wound up on the internet."

Tyson is set to star alongside James Franco in the film.

Franco's name has been tarnished ever since he admitted to sleeping with his students during his time as an acting school teacher.

They had previously appeared in films such as Pineapple Express and This is the End together.

But Franco, speaking recently, confirmed the duo were no longer close - even if he's attempted to patch things up.

"I haven’t talked to Seth,” he admitted.

“I love Seth, we had 20 great years together, but I guess it’s over.

"And not for lack of trying. I’ve told him how much he’s meant to me.”

Franco is also content with his life these days, with the actor admitting he 'needed' to be rejected by Hollywood.

“As painful as it was – yes, of course rejection is painful, being told you’re bad is painful," he said.

"But ultimately that’s kind of what I needed to just stop going the way I was going.”
