Sarah Ferguson has shared an update on her relationship with Prince Andrew, vowing to stand by the disgraced Duke of York through "thick and thin".

The Duchess of York expressed her unwavering loyalty to her former husband, telling The Times: "I won't let him down. He supports me as much as I support him."

In candid remarks, Sarah emphasised their continued bond despite their divorce, revealing: "He's supported me through thick and thin, not just marriage or divorce."

The couple, who divorced in 1996 but maintain a close relationship, share what Ferguson describes as the "three Cs - communication, compromise, compassion."

She praised the Duke as "the best, a great man with a great heart, and kind", maintaining that their love "is still with us today."

Prince Andrew is currently embroiled in fresh controversy after reports emerged that MI5 is investigating Chinese money given to his business ventures.

The Duke invited a businessman, known only as H6 and accused of being a Chinese spy, to Buckingham Palace twice, as well as to Windsor Castle and St James's Palace.

Andrew's office stated he "ceased all contact" with H6 after concerns were raised.

Sarah Ferguson continues to express her devotion despite Andrew's mounting troubles. She told The Times: "I know I'm all right because Beatrice, Eugenie and my sister love me. I think Andrew too.

Her steadfast support comes as the King has reportedly been briefed about his brother's links to the alleged spy, with royal biographer Andrew Lownie calling the latest revelations "highly damaging for the whole royal family".

The royal family has already taken steps to distance themselves from the Duke, with King Charles said to have axed his £1 million annual "living allowance" over the summer.
