Wanda Sykes had Jimmy Kimmel in hysterics this week when she shared her honest thoughts on Donald Trump winning the US Presidential election earlier this month.

The 60-year-old comedian and actress appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! and did not hold back when the late night host asked her how she was feeling following Trump's victory on November 5.

'Jimmy, I'm a Black woman and a lesbian, how the hell do you think I'm doin'?' Wanda blurted out as he asked her what her opinion is about why the Republicans won.

'Sometimes America is just gonna America. I mean there's so many reasons why you can say it happened, but I think a lot of us aren't totally shocked,' she admitted.

'But you know, you get your hopes up and you move forward and honestly I blame those damn Cheerio commercials, showing all those interracial couples!' she joked as Jimmy, 57, burst out laughing.

'You scared the s**t outta white people! They're like, "What are y'all doin'?" It's just cereal, just sell the damn cereal! Why you bringing us into this?

'They've got gay couples selling s**t, it's like, "just sell your stuff," stop bringing us into this!' she added.

Wanda continued: 'The finger pointing and all it's not really helping a lot, like "oh it's your fault, it's your fault," but it's like it just happened, it is what it is.'

Wanda Sykes shared her thoughts on Donald Trumps' election victory during an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! this week

The comedian and actress said she wasn't 'totally shocked' by the fact that Trump won the US presidential election

The Black-ish star then pointed out that a lot of people are asking: 'Why are the majority of white women not voting for another woman?' and she was quick to make another joke.

'I'm like, "y'all need to watch more Bravo!" Why are you shocked? I mean, have you seen The Bachelor? Women tear each other apart over a dude, so why do you think this weren't gonna happen? Real Housewives, they do the same thing!' she said.

When Jimmy asked Wanda what had 'puzzled' her the most about Trump's policies, she shared her thoughts on a very specific issue.

'Going after transgenders,' she replied. 'Especially transgender kids, because here's the thing, you're supposed to be trying to fix the problems of America, so you target a community that's less than one per cent of the population?

'So you're going after affirming care, as far as the sex, and it's like, okay so you're focusing on that, on sex change, how about focusing on climate change that affects everybody instead of sex change which affects one per cent?' she suggested as she was met with a round of applause.

'And it's all fears, like "you know, your son goes to school as a boy and comes home a girl," I'm like, "relax, it's man bun! Shut up!"' she joked as Jimmy laughed in response.

'Do you see anything positive out of this?' he then asked her as she mocked: 'If I'm a straight, white male then yeah, I'm good!'

Jimmy then pointed out that her wife, Alex Niedbalski, is French and asked Wanda if she would be looking to move to Europe in the wake of the election result and British celebs fleeing the US.

Jimmy was keen to hear the actress' thoughts on Republican policies and the election outcome

Wanda confirmed that she and her French wife Alex Niedbalski will not be moving to Europe following Trump's win

'My ancestors have got too much blood in this land, I ain't going nowhere! No!' she quickly fired back.

'And here's the thing, I'll tell you right now, Black women ain't having it right now, okay! So Black women, give them a break right now,' she continued.

'We just chilling right now so don't ask us dumb questions and stuff, don't be looking at us with those puppy dog eyes like "I'm sorry," coz you will get the s**t slapped out of you, I'm telling you right now,' she warned.

'Jimmy, Black women are taking a break! Hell, I probably shouldn't even be here right now! I should be at home in my house shoes with a bonnet on my head!' she joked.
