If I were to guess these leaks are coming out on purpose and if this one was to pass or fail, it wouldn’t be so bad since the Senate can say it did its due process.

The best way to find leakers is to give out ten different versions of a story to ten different staffers.

Once one version appears in the mass media you have your leaker.

None of these machinations are going to work like the last time. Trump is smarter and knows how treacherous his opponents are. Just to be clear, I’m not saying I want him to fail confirmation but getting these things out sooner than later, it’s not necessarily a bad thing.

Who is the leaker in the Trump Transition team? Vanity Fair on Thursday evening, citing a “transition source,” dropped a hit piece on Pete Hegseth, President Trump’s nominee for Defense Secretary. Citing two sources, Vanity Fair reported that Trump’s newly appointed Chief of Staff, Susie Wiles, was briefed about a sexual misconduct allegation involving Pete Hegseth."

I suspect there is no leaker. Vanity Fair is left wing. For years the left wing media made up accusations that were just plain damn lies and attributed them to "anonymous insiders." THEY LIE! They think it is their duty to lie for what they think is good. That is the Marxist way.

If Hegseth was investigated for sexual misconduct while in the military, there's going to be a lot of people who knew about it.

Anyhow, the story is that he was investigated and cleared of any wrongdoing.

Men like Hegseth are precisely the type that the military has been trying to force out over the past several years as they transitioned from a unit of warfighters to a "make work" project and Tricare-provider service for favored demographics. Understanding this, take any allegations of sexual misconduct with a grain of salt.

And Pete Hegseth is 100% the man for the job. That's why there's such a target on his back.
