12-year-old killed, two men wounded in NYC shooting

A  12-year-old boy was shot and killed in The Bronx Saturday, when gunfire erupted near the Grand Concourse, police said.

The child was hit along with two men, who were left wounded,  at around 5:30 p.m. on Elliot Place near Grand Concourse in the Mt. Eden neighborhood, police said.
It was not clear who fired or who was the intended target.

The child was shot in the left shoulder and taken to Lincoln Hospital, where he was declared dead, according to cops.

A 25-year-old man was hit in the buttocks and a 34-year-old man was struck in the foot, police said.
Both of them were taken to Bronx Lebanon Hospital in stable condition by private means.
There were no immediate arrests or suspect descriptions, cops said.
