Hate crimes in Los Angeles County were reported 45% more in 2023 than in 2022, according to an annualized report from the L.A. County Commission on Human Relations.
The 1,350 reported hate crimes in 2023 are the most in the history of the report, which has been commissioned since 1980, surpassing the 1,031 in 2001 that were reported in the aftermath of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks.

This is too easy! All the talk, all the press, all the funding and all the actions were not enough to stop ‘hate crimes’ rising! Time to defund the hate crime industry because all we get for our money is apparently more hate crimes!

Gotta keep those stats up to justify the existence of this Orwellian commission. Note that "African Americans were again grossly over-represented in reported racial hate crimes, constituting 49% of racial hate crime victims. The 320 anti-Black crimes were the highest number ever recorded." I wonder how many of those were committed by Latin American illegal gangs.

If Trump had been President for the last few years, KTLA would have blamed the rise in "hate crimes" in Los Angeles County directly on him, Donald Trump, personally, by name.
But since a Democrat has been in the White House, it's the fault of the air. It's now "easier to report these crimes." Of course.

I wonder what part is because of increasing reporting of the incident that, years ago, would have gone unreported. There's a debate on the rise of autism, too. Has it really risen, or are we just better at detecting it?

No such things as a hate crime. Murder is murder, rape is rape, assault is assault. Calling someone a name while doing it is nothing. It is just a way for the government to double dip and add punishment.

Black LIES Matter’s campaign of terror set back race relations in America a century (or more).
I gah-ron-tee you that that awful “N-word” is in more common use in America today than when Trump45 was in power.
