Three people have been injured in Hong Kong after a major collision between a red Ferrari sports car and a taxi on the weekend, with both vehicles badly damaged.
Police said on Sunday it received reports of the accident on Braemar Hill at 11.31pm on Saturday. The Ferrari driver and two passengers in the taxi were injured.
Two lanes of Yee King Road on Braemar Hill were temporarily closed due to the accident.
The police said the Ferrari driver suffered a nosebleed and sustained injuries on the right side of his forehead and left forearm. He and the taxi passengers were sent to Ruttonjee Hospital in Wan Chai.
Photos circulating on the internet showed the front of both vehicles had been smashed in the accident. The airbags of the Ferrari had been triggered, while the bonnet and boot of the red taxi were open.
A man was seen trying to pick up a detached tyre of the sports car from the opposite lane, and red debris was strewn across the road.
