San Francisco 49ers offensive lineman Trent Williams was ejected from his team's game against the Kansas City Chiefs for striking opponent Bryan Cook in the head with a stiff blow after a play had ended.

It had been a frustrating afternoon for the 49ers in a rematch of this year's Super Bowl, with San Francisco's offense sputtering against the Chiefs with only one touchdown on the day before the game's closing moments.

After a play with just over two minutes to go in the game, a downed Williams was smacked in the head by Chiefs' safety Bryan Cook. Williams stood up and delivered a much-more barbaric blow to a helmeted Cook.
