The Oregon coast was rocked by a 6.1-magnitude earthquake Wednesday.

The US Geological Survey detected the massive tremor at 1:15pm PT, with its epicenter located about 170 miles west of Bandon and 250 miles west-southwest of Salem.

The were no immediate reports of injuries or damages, but officials ensure a tsunami is not expected to form in the Pacific Ocean.
