Two women were injured, with one knocked unconscious, when a seven-seater vehicle crashed into them at a pedestrian crossing in North Point on Monday afternoon.
The vehicle was travelling down Cheung Hong Street when the driver appeared to lose control at the junction with King’s Road. The vehicle struck the two pedestrians as they were crossing the road at around 4.30pm.
One woman was found unconscious at the scene, while the other suffered a fractured leg.
Both were rushed to Pamela Youde Nethersole Eastern Hospital for treatment.
The driver was not injured.
Police cordoned off the area, where the damaged vehicle and traces of blood were visible on the road.
