A Jew dies and, having been a sinner in life, is sent to Jewish Hell.
"Just take the last elevator on the left and press the bottom button," says the Angel of Death. So the Jew gets on the elevator and presses the bottom button, which is marked JEWISH HELL.
As the elevator descends, he can hear screams of agony from each floor and the odor of brimstone seeps in the door. Finally, the elevator reaches its destination and the doors open.
He finds himself in a green field under irrigation beneath a cloudless blue sky. In the distance, he can see a city of tall white towers.
A man drives by on a tractor. He stops him and asks, "Is this Hell? Looks pretty good to me."
"Hell?" says the kibbutznik. "I guess so. You should have seen the place 80 years ago."

During the German hyperinflation of the 1920s, a Jewish man goes to the post office to mail a package. He already has lots of high denomination stamps on the package. I recall an issue of National Lampoon sometime in the 1970s showing Baptist Hell, Catholic Hell, Episcopal Hell, etc.
