He’s crashing out …

For the first time, Philadelphia 76ers superstar Joel Embiid addressed the media regarding the team meeting that was held, doing so Wednesday night after the team suffered yet another defeat — this time in a 117-111 loss against the Memphis Grizzlies. Though the first thing he did was fire shots at the leaker who let it be known what happened between him and teammate Tyrese Maxey.

“Whoever leaked that is a real piece of sh*t,” stated Embiid to the press following the game, per Tony Jones of The Athletic. (RELATED: Weak: LeBron Announces Break From Social Media, Proves His Ego Is Softer Than A Chinchilla)

Initiated by veteran Kyle Lowry, Monday’s team meeting happened after they took an L against the Miami Heat and it was meant to come clean about their horrendous performance to kick off the campaign. While the meeting was happening, Maxey reportedly called out Embiid over being late to team activities that’s having an impact on both players and the coaching staff.

“We talked about a lot of things,” said Embiid, according to Gina Mizell of The Philadelphia Inquirer. “I don’t want to get into the details, but that whole thing [with Maxey] probably took 30 seconds. But then again, it’s Joel Embiid, so we’ve got to make everything blown out of proportion.”

And here’s the power quote: “It’s whatever. I’ll take it all. I’m the reason for everything, so I’ll take the blame for everything.”

When asked about Monday’s team meeting in Miami, Sixers star Joel Embiid said “Whoever leaked that is a real piece of shit”
