Aaron Rodgers has given credit to his mystery wife, Brittani, for helping facilitate a 'beautiful' reunion with his family following a near-decade-long estrangement.
In an interview with the NFL Network, the 42-year-old quarterback shared rare details about his personal life and the process of reconnecting with his relatives.
Rodgers revealed that getting married played a significant role in changing his perspective on his strained family relationships.
'I'm happy to be reunited and that part of my life is a really beautiful addition and I got to give my wife a lot of credit - not that she was pushing me, because she never was, but just the way that she loves and supports me,' Rodgers said.
'Having her by my side during this process has been really special, and I miss those relationships. And there's reasons for it that don't need to be talked about but I'm thankful that that's come all the way back around,' he added.
The four-time NFL MVP has remained notoriously private about his marriage, revealing only that his wife's name is Brittani.

Rodgers credited his mystery wife, Brittani, with helping reconcile the family
Rodgers first publicly mentioned her in December 2024 before confirming in June 2025 that the couple had married a few months prior.
'A big part of it was getting married and having those conversations with my wife that allowed me to kind of open up to the possibility of coming together,' Rodgers said.
The reconciliation comes after years of public distance between Rodgers and his family. The turning point began in 2023 when Rodgers reconnected with his father, Ed, at a celebrity golf tournament in Lake Tahoe for the first time in nearly nine years.
Earlier this year in April, Rodgers invited his parents to attend his induction into the Pleasant Valley High School Hall of Fame.
Last month, Rodgers shared photos on Instagram documenting a 'bonding week' in Nashville with his family, including his mother Darla, father Ed, brother Luke, niece Evie and nephew Jack.
'I got to spend a long weekend recently in Nashville with my parents and my brother and his sweet wife and their incredible two kids,' Rodgers said. 'So I got to be an uncle, so it's really special.'
Rodgers also revealed that his wife gave him her blessing to return to the field for his 22nd NFL season after initially considering retirement.
'I thought last year might be it and then Mike [McCarthy] got hired, and then talked to the wife and she said, 'You can do one more year. See if it works out.' And then it kinda all came together,' Rodgers said.
In a series of photos posted to social media, Rodgers was also seen with his older brother, Luke

Rodgers added that he might take an extra rest day on occasion throughout the 2026 campaign in order to stay as fresh as possible for gamedays.
Rodgers has toyed with fans about the identity of his wife, insisting he will keep her out of the public eye but routinely referencing her during his media appearances.
He first mentioned her on The Pat McAfee Show in December 2024 during a regular weekly appearance.
Then, in June 2025, he said: 'I am with somebody who's private, who doesn’t want to be in the public eye, didn’t sign up to be a celebrity, doesn’t want to be part of it.
'And because I do things in private because I want my personal life to be private and now I’m somehow weird and now the paparazzi is stalking me on the beach trying to get a picture of her, stalking me in the workout.'
