Fiendish father Luciano Frattolin penned a deranged “press release” before being nabbed for murdering his 9-year-old daughter upstate — painting himself as God’s gift to mankind, jurors were told Monday.
The 46-year-old accused kid-killing psycho fantasized in the twisted rambling screed that his ex-girlfriend had been hauled off to prison, he had landed a new wife and he was preparing to retire from his multibillion-dollar empire to devote his life to raising daughter Melina and helping the mentally ill.
“I had my 1st kid, literally from the worst women in the world. Hopefully, I will get my second kid from the best women in the world,’’ read the creepy missive, which was riddled with bad grammar and alternated between first and third person.
“I pray twice a day to go to church on Sundays,’’ wrote the allegedly demented fallen coffee entrepreneur from Canada — while also congratulating himself for being “outgoing, nice, generous, and humble.”
Hailing himself as “a brave father,’’ Frattolin added that he would “probably the 1st [stet] to donate 100% of his social media income to charity.’’
The sick bizarre document was recovered from the suspect’s rented white Toyota Prius — which he allegedly used to dump his daughter’s body near Ticonderoga.
The missive was read aloud in Elizabethtown court by New York State Police Investigator Brendan Frost.
Prosecutors offered no explanation for why Frattolin wrote the undated statement or what he intended to do with it.
Frattolin is accused of killing Melina during a court-approved vacation in upstate New York in July 2025 before concocting a false kidnapping story involving her that sparked a massive manhunt across the Adirondacks.
His self-styled press release opens with a mock breaking-news bulletin falsely announcing that his ex and Melina’s mother, Kali Galanis, had been arrested, convicted and sentenced to life in prison for terrorizing him for more than a decade.
The document repeatedly depicts a life in which Frattolin has full custody of Melina. It talks about obtaining an Italian passport for the 9-year-old, arranging play dates and sleepovers, finding a new wife to help raise her and eventually leaving Canada together.
It also claims the little girl always wanted to be called “Layla.”
The document meanwhile constructs a larger-than-life version of Frattolin himself.
He portrays himself as an international business titan who claims to have shelved a $15 billion project, spent years developing multibillion-dollar ventures across three continents and sacrificed extraordinary wealth to protect his daughter.
At the same time, he recasts himself as a humanitarian.
The statement claims Frattolin planned to donate 100% of the proceeds from his social media accounts and half the profits from his coffee business to United Nations mental-health programs.
It says he hoped to spend his retirement helping people suffering from serious mental illness and promoting mental-health awareness around the world.
It even includes lengthy quotations attributed to a lawyer praising Frattolin’s parenting and accusing Galanis of manipulating the legal system before ending with Frattolin thanking “my six lawyers and their team” for believing in him.
He tells readers his three biggest flaws are that he is “naive, generous, and half black.”
He ends with what it calls “the moral of this story”: “Never, ever give up, and don’t try to outsmart the law.”
