A passenger has died aboard an Air France flight from Paris to Boston despite an onboard doctor attempting to save him.
The traveller fell ill shortly after taking off from Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport on Tuesday as medical assistance failed to prevent his death.
Emergency crews were seen at Boston Logan International Airport on Tuesday night after the aircraft landed.
Police have since described the death as "unattended", although they have not released further details about the circumstances.

Medical emergencies during flights are not uncommon, with data showing approximately 44,000 US flights experience some form of medical event annually.
These incidents range from minor discomforts to life-threatening situations, according to Aviation Services' March 2024 report.
The most frequent medical situations include fainting, gastrointestinal issues, respiratory problems and neurological issues.
Cardiac events and seizures are also commonly reported during flights.

The incident follows another recent aviation tragedy when a Turkish Airlines pilot died after collapsing during a 12-hour flight from Seattle to Istanbul in October 2024.
The pilot in the Turkish Airlines incident was identified as Ilcehin Pehlivan, 59, who had been with the airline since 2007.
The aircraft was forced to make an emergency landing in New York after he collapsed.
Medical records later showed that Pehlivan had passed a health examination in March with no indication of any medical concerns.
