Airstrike on Beirut apartment, vehicle targets Hezbollah leader, one dead

The head of the operations department in Hezbollah's "Southern Front" was the target of an airstrike that hit a vehicle and an apartment in Beirut, Lebanon, Army Radio reported Sunday evening.

In footage of the aftermath of the event shared by the Israeli news outlet, a fire rages in a city street as plumes of smoke rise into the evening sky.

One individual was killed, and nine were wounded in the strike, Israeli media reported, citing the Lebanese Health Ministry. Two of those wounded are reportedly in critical condition.
