All new Team-Up abilities & changes in Marvel Rivals Season 2

Marvel Rivals will be adding several new Team-Ups as well as changing and removing existing ones in Season 2. Here are all the details.

As the release date for Marvel Rivals’ Season 2 draws closer, devs have finally revealed a plethora of new additions as well as changes coming to the game to spice things up. One huge change is related to the development process, with future seasons confirmed to be shorter.

Other than that, they’ve also showcased new Team-Up abilities for some of the characters in the roster. These are also followed by additional tweaks and removal for some existing Team-Up abilities. 

Devs have previously discussed changes to Team-Ups. and now, we can finally get a closer look in-game.

All new Team-Ups in Marvel Rivals Season 2

Season 2 is set to bring a total of three new Team-Up abilities at launch. The first is for Emma Frost, who will be a new addition to the roster, while the rest will be for existing characters.

All changes to existing Team-Ups

As a way to prevent characters from having too many Team-Ups, devs explained that they had to make adjustments to the old ones.

These are the Team-Ups that will be tweaked and removed in Season 2.

Because of this, some heroes have been moved around or swapped out in certain Team-Ups. The changes are as follows:

• Ammo Overload will no longer include Winter Soldier
• Dimensional Shortcut will no longer include Psylocke
• Gamma Charge will no longer include Doctor Strange but will add Namor
• Chilling Charisma will no longer include Namor

Which Team-Up abilities will no longer be available?

Starting from Season 2, Voltaic Union and Metallic Chaos will be completely removed, as confirmed by devs.
