A celebrity jewelry designer has revealed all the details behind Zendaya's new apparent engagement ring from Tom Holland.

Stephanie Gottlieb of Stephanie Gottlieb Fine Jewelry in NYC took to social media to break down the gorgeous ring that Zendaya debuted at the Golden Globes on Sunday evening.

Gottlieb believes the ring features an antique cushion weighing approximately five to six carats and is the perfect accessory for the superstar.

'The diamond ring appears to feature an antique cushion, probably five to six carats set east west with white gold vintage style prongs on a yellow gold band,' Gottlieb said.

According to Gottlieb, the ring was exuding 'cool girl' energy while still remaining 'classic.'

'This really suits her,' she continued. 'It's classic, still unique and it's definitely giving cool girl vibes.'

TMZ broke the news of Zendaya and Tom's engagement after the actress was seen with the ring at the Golden Globes, sparking betrothal rumors.

A family source also confirmed the news to People, and a separate insider told the website the couple's inner circle were aware an engagement was on the horizon.

'Everyone close to them knew an engagement was happening,' the source said. The timing, however, was unknown.

The insider added the actor had been wanting to pop the question 'for a while.'

'He's always been crazy about her. He always knew she was the one. They have something very special,' the source continued.

The source added that Holland told pals about the engagement around New Year's.

But for now the lovebirds aren't in a hurry to walk down the aisle. 'They will just enjoy things for now and won't rush a wedding,' the source said, adding that the pair are 'both busy with work projects.'

The question was popped 'between Christmas and New Year's,' TMZ reported on Monday after she flashed a diamond engagement ring at the Golden Globe Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday.

The actor got down on one knee 'in a very intimate setting in one of Zendaya's family homes in the United States,' the site added.

It was also claimed that no family was around them as it was just the two of them when he asked the beauty to become Mrs Holland.

The proposal was also called 'romantic and not over the top.'

News of the reported engagement comes after Zendaya sparked engagement rumors when she flashed a massive diamond ring on her wedding finger at the Golden Globes.

The superstar, who has been in a romance with Holland since 2021, seemed to have more to celebrate than just her acting nomination for Challengers at the star-studded event.

While her burnt tangerine Louis Vuitton gown and her new bob hairstyle certainly turned heads, it was the dazzling accessory on her left hand that had everyone talking - and it has been valued at $500,000.

A stunning solitaire diamond glistened on her finger, leaving fans wondering if Holland—who did not attend the event—had finally popped the question.

Tom previously shared the reason behind his desire for privacy, saying that his relationship with Zendaya is 'the thing I keep most sacred.'

In a 2022 appearance on Jay Shetty's podcast, he explained, 'My relationship is the thing I keep most sacred. I don't talk about it. I try my best to keep it as private as possible.'

He added, 'We both feel like that is the healthiest way for us to move on as a couple, so I do try to keep as removed from Hollywood as possible.'
