The alleged co-conspirator in the Wisconsin school shooting was pulled out of public school by his mother — who slammed California state teachers as mentally checked out and “so flipping lazy,” according to a report.
Alexander Paffendorf, 20, was first enrolled in private school back in 2013 after his mom said she witnessed first-hand the alleged ineptitude, according to old social media posts unearthed and verified by The US Sun.
“Tenure, paid holidays all summers off, they are so flipping lazy here in SoCal,” Paffendorf’s mother wrote on X.
“Once they achieve tenure they check out mentally and get so very lazy. The children miss out, so we followed up with lessons at home and eventually pulled our son and placed him in a private AP school. It made all the difference,” she ranted.
In another post, the woman — who was not identified by the outlet — said: “I volunteered in my son’s classrooms & schools from kinder through middle school. “I witnessed only 4 excellent teachers throughout that time. It was so bad we removed our son from public school to a private AP academy, now he’s in college & doing very well.”
“We live in an affluent beach town in SoCal, so you’d think the standards would be high. The teachers are on their cell phones or charging their Vape devices in class. After Covid lockdowns things got much worse so we pulled him out. Advocate for your children,” she continued.
It is not clear what schools, public or private, Paffendorf attended, but the education system was not the only thing Paffendorf’s mother took to social media to lambast.
The California parent blasted the state and federal government alike, calling California Gov. Gavin Newsom a “coward” and President Joe Biden a “puppet.”
“The majority of our government is full of corrupt liars, pedophiles, and thieves with no actual idea or concern for how to run our country…it’s one giant facade,” she wrote in one X post uncovered by the US Sun.
In another, she states, “Its been the hardest pill to swallow. Having moved here via green cards from Germany in the 70s, I grew up believing America is the greatest country, with honest & helpful people & the best government. The last 3 yrs have been shocking & extremely disheartening.”
The X account has apparently been deleted, but The US Sun reported that Paffendorf’s mother is posting on a new page, with a bio that reads: “No one special, just trying to do my best each day, and be the best Mother I can to my sweet son.”
The Post could not reach Paffendorf’s parents for comment.
Paffendorf allegedly shares the same aversion to government as his mother — the 20-year-old has been accused of planning a mass shooting at a government building in a parallel and coordinated attack with Wisconsin killer Natalie “Samantha” Rupnow.
The pair exchanged messages ahead of the violence, in which Paffendorf pledged to “arm himself with explosives and a gun” and target a San Diego building as she opened fire on Abundant Life Christian School in Madison, Wisconsin.
Only Rupnow carried out her part of the plan, killing substitute teacher Erin West and freshman Rubi Vergara before turning the gun on herself Monday.
Paffendorf has not been charged with a crime, but a court hearing on the restraining order is set for Jan. 3.
