Join with fellow FREEPERS to pray for AMERICA: For those in Authority in Government, Family, Military, Business, Healthcare, Education, Churches, and the Media.

Praying daily since 2015:

I urge, then, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone: for kings and all those in authority that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. ~ 1 Timothy 2:1-2

Wait on the Lord;
Be of good courage,
And He shall strengthen your heart;
Wait, I say, on the Lord!
Psalm 27:14

Our Mighty, All-Knowing, Loving Father,

Thank You for the beautiful gift we celebrate this weekend, Lord. We have all experienced times when we wanted to give a much desired gift to a loved one, but we had to wait. Thank You, Father, for not forgetting our prayers for a righteous leader and for helping us to wait for Your wonderful answers. We honor and bless You for the joy of seeing President Trump inaugurated tomorrow. Thank You for drying our tears, allaying our fears, and waiting for Your perfect timing to be realized. May You place a special anointing of divine protection and blessing upon all the ceremonies that will ensue, and may Your hand of favor continue to rest upon President Trump and Vice President Vance. Please thwart any plans of the wicked one to harm the new administration. May Your spirit of wisdom and understanding guide both of them through each day of their term of office. And may You receive all the glory for the blessings that will be enjoyed by our nation. For Your Word says Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord. Let the people praise You, O Lord! Let all the people praise You. And may our nation and the nations of this world be witnesses to the effects of righteous leadership. Thank You, Father. Our Savior has brought both of these men through the fire for such a time as this.

Father, we bless You for the release of some of the hostages in the next few days and ask that You comfort those who wait upon You. Help those who have survived such tremendous atrocities and assaults as they return to the safety of their families. Please set them free from the continued torture of their memories. Bless Your people, Israel, and give them the courage and resolve to continue to stand for their right to exist as the holy nation You have called them to be.

Father, we again pray for those who lost so much in the California fires. Please bring comfort to those who have not sought You and are attempting to recover without Your help. Please send Your people to lead them to Jesus as they search for direction. God of Hope, may Your Name be glorified even in the midst of these tragedies.

We rejoice in You, Father because Your timing is perfect! Let us never forget the blessing of belonging to You. Blessed be the Lord God, the God of Israel, Who only does wondrous things! And blessed be His glorious Name forever! And let the whole earth be filled with His glory. Amen and Amen. (Psalm 72:18-19)

Father, we again pray for those who lost so much in the California fires. Please bring comfort to those who have not sought You and are attempting to recover without Your help.

9 yet now I am happy, not because you were made sorry, but because your sorrow led you to repentance. For you became sorrowful as God intended and so were not harmed in any way by us. 10 Godly sorrow brings repentance that leads to salvation and leaves no regret, but worldly sorrow brings death. - 2 Corinthians 7

May godly, and not worldly sorrow carry the day in the hearts of Californians. May the state not be a stumbling block or thorn for the incoming administration and the president’s agenda.
