FATHER GOD,

Thank you for the greatest gift there ever was and will be . . . the love of GOD sent to earth in the form of a Perfect Child to save humanity from sin and death.

“This is how GOD loved the world: He gave His one and only SON, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life. GOD sent His SON into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through Him.

“There is no judgment against anyone who believes in Him. But anyone who does not believe in Him has already been judged for not believing in GOD’s one and only SON. (John 3:16-18)

It is because of GOD’S LOVE that we love. It is because of GOD’S MERCY that we have eternal life. It is because of GOD’S REDEMPTION that we have forgiveness. It is because of GOD’S GRACE that we have new beginnings.

FATHER GOD,

Draw close to those who are alone today, especially our military men and women who are deployed.
“I will never fail you. I will never abandon you.” (Hebrews 13:5)Comfort those who mourn the death of family and friends.
“Come to Me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. (Matthew 11:28).Reveal Yourself to those who are searching for Who You are.
“Look! I stand at the door and knock. If you hear my voice and open the door, I will come in, and we will share a meal together as friends.” (Revelation 3:20)

On this sacred day, may believers around the world rejoice about the real REASON for the SEASON . . . our LORD and SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST. May our lives reflect CHRIST’s love to those around us, and may we act upon divine appointments to spread the Good News wherever we go.

In JESUS’ Name we pray. AMEN.
