America Prayer Vigil – December 29, 2024

I urge, then, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone: for kings and all those in authority that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness.
1 Timothy 2:1-2

Heavenly Father God, Creator of all heavens and earth, we humbly come before You in thanksgiving and praise.
Lord, we are most thankful for the mercy that You have poured upon our lives.
We especially thank You for sending Your Son, Jesus Christ, our Redeemer.

For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through Him.
John 3:16-17

Father God, we thank You that “woke” did not win in 2024. We pray that our culture will continue towards truth, Your Truth. We pray that in 2025, people will stand up against the lies. May the absurdities of man made climate change and gender fluidity be exposed. May the government be held accountable for its fiscal policies, war mongering and sloppy stewardship.

Abortion, promiscuity, deviancy, and moral decay are an abomination to You and we pray that they will once again be an abomination to us. Let us no longer foster a culture of sin, but help us to be a repentant and God fearing people once again.

Father God, we pray that as a nation, we will return to You. Let us seek Your blessings and not Your cursings. Let us no longer invite judgment and shame, but let us make a joyful noise to the Lord.

Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, the people whom He has chosen as His heritage!
