It's a Friday night, you're scrolling through your streaming apps, and you land on a movie you've wanted to rewatch for years. Then you see the price tag — $3.99 to rent, $14.99 to buy — for a movie you've already watched a dozen times. So you close the app and settle for whatever's actually included in your subscription instead.
Apple TV Plus just made that whole dilemma disappear for a solid chunk of its classic movie catalog. The service, usually known for its slate of original shows and movies, just added a batch of classic titles that are normally rent-or-buy purchases, and they're now streaming free for anyone with a subscription. You'll find them tucked into a new "Great Movies Available Now on Apple TV" carousel inside the Apple TV app.
