CV NEWS FEED // Archbishop Samuel J. Aquila of the Archdiocese of Denver will hold a Eucharistic Procession around Planned Parenthood on November 2.

Denver Catholic reports that the annual event will begin at Marisol Health Denver, a ministry of Catholic Charities that offers OB-GYN and social services to women in need.

The Eucharistic procession will go around Planned Parenthood’s property and will be followed by Benediction and a Mass at Marisol Health’s garden.

“The unborn have no voice in the fight for their rights and their lives,” Archbishop Aquila said in a recent column for Denver Catholic. “The ability to bring our values into the public square and advocate for the truth and dignity of human life is one of the blessings of liberty that our constitution speaks of.”

He continued by encouraging all Catholics in the archdiocese to join him in prayer and witness ahead of the November election.

“May the Lord Jesus, who is the Way, the Truth and the Life, illumine our hearts, that we might form our consciences well, advocate for Truth and continue to foster a culture of life that honors each human being from the moment of conception to natural death,” he said.

Jeannine Duffield, director of Respect Life Denver, added that by participating in pro-life activities, the faithful act as Christ’s hands and feet, working to create the just, compassionate society they desire.

“Everybody has a part to play in this, and God’s work won’t be done if anyone is missing,” Duffield said. “We’re all needed in the Body of Christ. So, your role, whether you believe it’s big or small, is important … It’s only by all of us doing this together that we can make any substantial change in this world that we live in.”
