Ashley Kramer Joins ElevenLabs as CRO to Drive AI Growth

ElevenLabs, an AI interaction platform, announced that Ashley Kramer has joined the company as Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) as of September 2, 2026. With enterprise customers now contributing 55% of ElevenLabs’ revenue, Kramer’s appointment signals a deeper push into serving large organizations and scaling the company's global presence.

Kramer, a veteran of high-growth technology firms, brings a track record of success from industry giants like OpenAI, GitLab, and Tableau. At OpenAI, where she most recently led enterprise sales, Kramer oversaw a pivotal period during which enterprise revenue surpassed consumer revenue, with Fortune 100 companies rapidly adopting AI solutions. Prior to OpenAI, her leadership roles at GitLab, Alteryx, and Tableau were marked by significant revenue growth and customer acquisition, particularly in enterprise software and cloud strategy.

ElevenLabs, known for its customizable AI models and agents designed for natural human interaction, has gained traction among enterprise clients such as Meta, Stripe, Klarna, Hasbro, and Deutsche Telekom. The platform now handles over 15 million conversations weekly, spanning applications from customer support to sales and business operations. CEO Mati Staniszewski called Kramer’s deep understanding of enterprise needs a critical asset as the company scales its platform to help businesses streamline operations and create new revenue-generating experiences.

"Solving how AI interacts with people will be one of the defining challenges of the AI era," said Kramer in the announcement. "If AI sounds robotic, cold, or simply doesn’t understand your intent, people won’t trust it to help solve their problems. ElevenLabs is building the industry's leading human-AI interaction platform, and I’m excited to lead this work for enterprises globally.”

This strategic hire comes at a time when demand for enterprise-grade AI solutions is accelerating. ElevenLabs’ focus on enabling AI interactions that adapt to cultural, contextual, and linguistic nuances positions it to address growing enterprise needs. The company’s emphasis on personalization could also differentiate it in an increasingly competitive market.

Kramer’s history of driving growth at OpenAI and her comprehensive leadership toolkit—spanning sales, marketing, product development, and cloud strategy—align with ElevenLabs’ ambitions. Her tenure at Tableau, where she spearheaded the company’s cloud-first strategy, and her days at GitLab, where she shaped product-led growth and revenue pipelines, underscore her ability to scale organizations at critical junctures.

As AI adoption continues to expand across industries, ElevenLabs appears intent on leveraging Kramer’s expertise to cement its position as a leader in AI interaction technology. The company’s growing enterprise footprint, paired with a surge in demand for AI solutions that are both intuitive and trustworthy, creates fertile ground for its next phase of growth.
