At least two Palestinians were killed and several others injured in an Israeli strike targeting civilians on Sarari Street in Jabalia, northern Gaza, medical sources told Anadolu.

In the central Gaza Strip, an airstrike hit the home of the Naami family in the Maghazi refugee camp, killing nine Palestinians, including children, the sources confirmed.

Israeli drones also attacked tents sheltering displaced people in Al-Mawasi, west of Khan Younis in southern Gaza, causing multiple casualties. Additional shelling struck areas east of Khan Younis and northwest of Rafah.

Meanwhile, the Israeli military has ramped up its demolition of residential buildings in Rafah and northern Gaza, leaving behind significant devastation.

In a related development, the Palestinian Civil Defense condemned the arrest of its northern Gaza director, Ahmed Hassan Al-Kahlout, by Israeli forces on Friday night.

In a statement, the Civil Defense called the arrest part of “Israel’s deliberate targeting of humanitarian and relief operations.”

The ongoing violence follows Israel's large-scale ground offensive in northern Gaza, launched on October 5, which it claims is aimed at preventing Hamas from regrouping. Palestinians say Israel is seeking to occupy the area and forcibly displace its residents.

Since the offensive began, humanitarian aid, including food, medicine, and fuel, has not been sufficiently allowed into Gaza, pushing the remaining population toward a dire humanitarian crisis.

According to Gaza’s Health Ministry, the death toll in the enclave has surpassed 45,400 people since the Israeli genocidal war began.

International legal actions have also intensified against Israel. Last month, the International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants for Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former defense minister Yoav Gallant, for war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza. Additionally, a genocide case against Israel is being pursued at the International Court of Justice.
