A transgender pedophile has pleaded guilty to dozens of child sex offenses among other horrific crimes at Melbourne Magistrates’ Court today. Matthew Green, also known as Kaleigh Green, reportedly showed “little remorse” during his hearing, according to the Age.
Green, 29, appeared remotely today from Ravenhall prison, where he is being held in the Forbes unit, a high-protection section of the jail. His guilty plea covered 36 offenses, including child rape, producing and transmitting child abuse material, and performing sexual acts in front of a child. He also pleaded guilty to two counts of bestiality and one count relating to possession of a child-like sex doll.
The pedophile had originally faced a startling 194 charges. Those charges were struck out and replaced by the 36 offenses to which he pleaded guilty. Green’s sentencing will take place in March of 2027.
Green was first arrested by sex-crime detectives in September of last year as part of the investigation that had earlier led police to notorious pedophile Joshua Brown.
Some of Green’s social media pages.Brown had worked in the Victorian childcare sector for several years and had been employed at over 20 early-learning centers across Melbourne and Geelong. Brown’s offending was so widespread that authorities were prompted to urge the parents of 1,200 children to get them tested for gonorrhea, chlamydia and syphilis.
Police initially alleged that Brown had offended against eight children at Creative Garden Early Learning Centre in Point Cook between April 2022 and January 2023. The children were aged between five months and two years.
Brown was initially charged with more than 70 offences, including alleged sexual offences against children and offences involving child abuse material. But the investigation subsequently expanded, and police identified additional alleged victims and examined Brown’s employment history across the childcare sector.
By December 2025, Brown faced a staggering 156 charges involving 12 alleged victims.
The additional charges included allegations of sexual assault, attempted sexual penetration, sexual activity in the presence of a child, producing child abuse material, transmitting child abuse material, causing injury and assault.
Like Green, police also charged Brown with offenses involving bestiality. Those allegations were separate from the childcare allegations.
Notably, the father of one child who attended the Creative Garden Early Learning Centre under Brown’s supervision came forward last year to reveal he had suspicions about Brown, but failed to report him due to concerns that he would be labeled as “homophobic.”
A Melbourne father whose son went to a childcare centre where alleged paedophile Joshua Dale Brown worked says he found him "weird and creepy" but didn't report his concerns for fear of being labelled "homophobic".

The offenses to which Green pleaded guilty are separate from the allegations involving Brown’s work in childcare, and Green’s offenses are not believed to have taken place in a childcare setting. Police have not alleged that Green and Brown jointly committed the offense for which either man has been charged. At this time, it is unclear exactly how the investigation into Brown led police to Green.
Green appears to have begun identifying as transgender in 2025, when he uploaded a photo of himself to his Facebook wearing bright blue lipstick.
But even prior to adopting his new identity, he appears to have been closely aligned with the “furry” subculture. Furries are a subculture of individuals who enjoy fantasy materials featuring anthropomorphic animal characters. Some enthusiasts will spend thousands of dollars creating customized “suits” to take on the appearance of their favorite animal character, and many incorporate the characters into sexual or pornographic acts. While many furries deny any connection between their subculture and paraphilias, there have been multiple cases of furries being indicted in sex crimes in recent years.
While some of Green’s social media pages have been deleted since his arrest, likely at the request of authorities, his Facebook does reveal he had been an avid gamer and streamed under the username GeenPants and ShadowFire666. Some clips from his Counter Strike streams are still available on YouTube and Twitch.
