Matt James and Rachael Kirkconnell have called it quits.
The former “Bachelor” star posted a prayer via Instagram Thursday to reveal the couple’s breakup after four years together.
“Father God, give Rachael and I strength to mend our broken hearts,” the former reality star, 33, captioned a throwback photo from the duo’s time on the ABC show.
“Give us a peace about this decision to end our relationship that transcends worldly understanding,” he continued. “Shower our friends and family with kindness and love to comfort us.”
James, who disabled comments on the social media upload, concluded, “And remind us that our Joy comes from you, Lord 💔.”
He tagged Kirkconnell, 28, in the post.
She has yet to share her own statement regarding their split.
The exes met and fell in love while filming Season 25 of “The Bachelor” in 2020 — but broke up post-show.
Their initial split came amid backlash over resurfaced photos of Kirkconnell attending an Antebellum-themed party in college.
By the summer of 2021, however, the pair had reconciled.
“It was a bit of a journey,” Kirkconnell explained to “Extra” that August. “But I think we’re in a really good place.”
As for James, he called his partner “the brightest spot” of his life the following month in a People interview.
Kirkconnell last posted via Instagram in December 2024 while celebrating James’ birthday.
“happiest of birthdays to my best friend, my teammate, my sous chef, the man that has my whole heart,” she gushed at the time. “you fill it (and my tummy) with so much love and laughter and i’m so thankful i get to dance through this life with you.
“thank you for your never ending love and support and smooches and snuggles,” Kirkconnell continued last month. “to many more adventures, happy birthday my pumpkin ♡.”
