Larian Studios just had its own playthrough of Baldur’s Gate 3 taken down on both YouTube and TikTok after running into a nude scene.
Over the last few months, the creators of Baldur’s Gate 3 have been streaming a Dark Urge playthrough, hosted by Senior Communications Director Aoife Wilson.
As is fitting for playing such a murderous character, the playthrough has been full of violent encounters. But on August 5, the Durge became too much for some platforms after they ran into one of the RPG’s notoriously steamy encounters.
After entering House of Hope, Wilson’s character met the succubus Haarlep and accepted his advances, triggering a sex scene.
Larian’s own BG3 stream cut short due to nude scene
Although the hosts did their best to obscure what was happening with a large D20, there was some nudity that slipped through the filters, and the stream was quickly shut down on YouTube.
They were hit with a message that said, “Your LIVE ‘Larian’s Dark Urge Run: Claws’ streamed on 08/05/2026 at 12:46 PM has been discontinued because of a violation: Body Exposure and Sexualized Behaviours.”
TikTok then followed suit by taking down the stream, meaning that it was only live on Twitch for the remainder of the broadcast.
The devs clearly saw the funny side, as after being informed of the bans, Wilson joked that “it’s just a bit of demon sex,” before adding: “If you’re just joining us, this is the official Larian stream, welcome. True to form we have just been banned on several platforms we’re currently streaming to.”
Publishing Director Michael Douse later posted on X saying that “Baldur’s Gate 3 is now cancelled.” He then replied, joking that “getting banned on your birthday is such a cool & edgy thing to do,” referencing Baldur’s Gate 3’s third anniversary on August 3.
The main Larian Studios account even got in on the act, posting an image that read, “Live now on YouTube, TikTok, Twitch,” with a line struck through the first two platforms.
Not only was the stream cut short on some platforms, but the VOD has also been removed from YouTube. But don’t worry, the streams run weekly every Wednesday, so you’ll be able to pick up the story on August 12.
