Beloved influencer dies age 55 after suffering medical episode during livestream

Beloved influencer John Davis has died age 55 after suffering a medical episode during a livestream.

The popular host of Coffee Time with John and Momma passed away in Jellico, Tennessee.

Authorities were called to a residence just before 5.30pm on Wednesday after Davis stopped breathing, according to TMZ.

He was pronounced dead at the scene. An official cause of death has not yet been released.

According to an incident report, Davis had heart failure, kidney failure, high blood pressure, diabetes and had obstructive sleep apnea.  

The report, obtained by People, added that the county's medical examiner does not 'believe there was anything suspicious about the situation surrounding the death.'

Traumatized fans revealed they saw the event unfold on the livestream in real time.

Taking to Facebook, one said: 'I was watching tonight and it's going to take a while for my mind to unsee the horror…'

'I was watching,' another said. 'He probably never knew what hit him. His little momma will never get over that. God bless her and the man who did CPR.'

Tributes have also flooded in from devastated fans.

'My heart is completely broken!' one penned. 'I can not believe God called him home! I loved watching him and momma!'

 'John and mama were such a joy to watch,' another added. 

'The love they had for one another and to share a little bit of their lives with us and their interaction while preparing a meal and his moment of humor added so much fun to the video. 

'I'm just stunned by this and deeply saddened for his sweet mama. I will send prayers for this family.' 

Coffee Time with John and Momma started posting videos to YouTube in December 2021 and amassed nearly eight thousand subscribers.

The mother and son went live from their kitchen on Facebook and YouTube most days and would share their mealtimes together.

Their most recent video, uploaded on June 9, saw them cook tomato parm with ranch dressing.
