Destiny 2 Episode Heresy has boosted the power of Arc-centric builds out of the wazoo and 2025’s Guardian Games has upped their game even further.
Barring Wendigo GL3, which is out of rotation as a Nightfall drop, Arc-element Heavy Grenade Launchers are few and far between. Thankfully, though, Hullabaloo is here to fill that gap and you’ve got until Guardian Games ends on April 1 to get your hands on the best rolls.
While Heavy GLs are traditionally used as boss DPS tools in Heresy’s meta, they also make for a fantastic add-clear option. As Hullabaloo is missing some important single-target DPS perks such as Bait and Switch, your best bet here is to build around its strengths.
For Warlocks in particular, which can rely on frequent casts of Chaos Reach for boss damage, Hullabaloo is a fantastic option. Here’s what you want to be on the lookout for.
Hullabaloo PvE & PvP god rolls – Meta analysis

For PvE, Voltshot and Chain Reaction are going to light up your add-clear game like a Christmas tree. The former will synergize with your Arc subclass fragments and Heresy’s seasonal Artifact, while the latter will layer in additional AoE damage, enabling you to clear any densely packed room with one or two rounds.
If you’re eager to try a single-target roll, Envious Assassin with One for All isn’t too shabby. The latter isn’t as convenient as Bait and Switch but the prerequisite of hitting three separate targets for a damage boost is incredibly easy to meet with a Heavy GL.
In PvP, Impulse Amplifier with Vorpal Weapon and any velocity-boosting auxiliary perks are the go-to. Do note, however, that if you’re here specifically hunting an S-tier Heavy GL for Crucible, Cataphract GL3 from Trials of Osiris is objectively superior.
That’s a wrap on Hullabaloo but if you’re looking for breakdowns of other Guardian Games weapons, check out god rolls for The Title and Keraunios.
