I like Dyson, but I'm not a huge fan of Dyson prices. So when October Prime Day rolls around, I’m interested, but I’m not adding every discounted hair tool and vacuum to my cart just because. (I mean, if I could do that, I probs wouldn't be writing this, would I?)

I’ve already mentioned my HushJet, but here's what I love: I don’t have to babysit it. It’s quiet, automatically detects changes in air quality, and the MyDyson app lets me see what’s happening in real time. Dyson says the particle filter lasts up to five years, which is a lot more convenient than adding replacement filters to my regular shopping list. At $299.99, it’s $50 off. That’s not its lowest-ever price, but if you’re looking for a high-end purifier for a bedroom or office, it’s still worth a look. Just keep the room size in mind: it’s rated for spaces up to 203 square feet, not your entire house. (I keep mine running 24/7 in my bedroom.)
