Bev Turner and Andrew Pierce have reflected on their show after Britain's Newsroom secured their best ever viewing figures on Wednesday.
In a behind the scenes video yesterday, Andrew said: "We're celebrating Donald Trump's election victory for another reason, too, because on Wednesday we had our best ever viewing figures for Britain's newsroom."
Bev proceeded to suggest why she thought viewers had chosen to watch their programme.
She said: "I think it's because our audience are very smart, and they wanted to hear people who were in celebration as well about the victory, because you weren't going to get that on literally any other channel.
"Nobody else was pleased about this result.
"All the left wing mainstream establishment media were crying yesterday, whereas we were celebrating democracy."

Andrew proceeded to point out the audience is not just based in the UK.
He said: "It's not just people here who are really engaged about what's happening in America. We've got viewers and listeners in America, too, because they text and email us all the time.
"And even though we're very pleased, we were very objective about it, too. We know Donald Trump's got his faults."
Bev replied: "I'm not sure we were that objective, but we did have balance across the output, across the whole show. We had lots of guests on who were actually analyzing the situation.
"Some people were very devastated, weren't they."
Expressing his joy about the result, Andrew added: "We were absolutely cockerhoop that he won. And not only did he win, he won big.
"This is the biggest win for a Republican president since 2004. And who would have thought it?"
Also delighted by Donald Trump winning the Presidential race, Bev explained: "For me, I think my celebration is about the fact that I think there are so many chilling social, economic, cultural changes around the corner.
