Tina Knowles slammed the “ridiculous” trolls criticizing her daughter Beyoncé’s NFL halftime show that streamed on Netflix Christmas Day.
Many criticized the “Texas Hold ’em” hitmaker, 43, for making a gun hand gesture — which the football league banned and gives a 15-yard penalty to any player caught doing it — during her flashy performance.
Knowles, 70, hit back, though, via Instagram Friday, “It is mind-boggling to me that you would take your precious Christmas day and watch a performance of someone you hate and you don’t think has talent so that you can go talk ish about it later😂😂.”
“Obviously you are so obsessed with them , addicted to them , and secretly admire them , wish you could be them, that you cannot help but to watch and critique and comment and say dumb ridiculous stuff that makes you look like a joke !!” she continued.
“So go to another channel when it’s halftime watch goofy cartoons or Bozo the clown or something you can relate to and see yourself in. Said with love❤️❤️.”
Praising her daughter’s work ethic, Knowles added, “I have learned so much from her warrior spirit, of when they go low I work harder.”
The fashion designer concluded her clapback by quoting Isaiah 54:17: “No weapon formed against me shall prosper.”
Beyoncé’s mom has defended the famous songstress time and time again over the years.
Most recently, she hit back at rumors that Beyoncé was paid $10 million to appear at Kamala Harris’ Houston rally in October.
In November 2023, Knowles did not mince words when clapping back at fans who accused the “Cuff It” singer of bleaching her skin and trying to appear caucasian at the premiere of her “Renaissance” tour film.
“She does a film, called the renaissance, where the whole theme is silver with silver hair, a silver carpet, and suggested silver attire and you bozos decide that she’s trying to be a white woman and is bleaching her skin?” she penned on Instagram at the time.
“How sad is it that some of her own people continue the stupid narrative with hate and jealousy.”
Knowles’ latest lengthy caption accompanied a screenshot of an Instagram post Beyoncé fan Kris Iman shared in support of the music superstar.
“It is PROOF and motivation that no matter how undeniably talented you are, people will always, ALWAYS, always have some negative ish to say,” the marketing professional wrote in part in her post.
Beyoncé took the stage in front of millions of viewers Wednesday during the Baltimore Ravens versus Houston Texans game.
The “Single Ladies” hitmaker — who performed several tracks from her “Cowboy Carter” album, including “16 Carriages,” “Ya Ya” and “Jolene” — was also criticized by Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy, who tweeted, “Beyoncé has been LOST since Destinys [sic] Child.”
Despite the hate, Beyoncé likely found comfort in the support of her family and former Destiny’s Child bandmate Michelle Williams, who was also present for the halftime performance.
Beyoncé’s husband, Jay-Z, watched at NRG Stadium with their 7-year-old daughter, Rumi, and their 12-year-old, Blue Ivy, was right beside her mom on the football field during a line dance for “Texas Hold ‘Em.”
