You probably have heard of Kashmir – the Muslim-majority region that India and Pakistan have fought three different wars over. But the Kashmir Valley isn’t the only contentious border dispute in South Asia, even if it’s the only one most people have heard of.

Today, we’re going to talk about three other territorial disputes in the region – the sort of flashpoints that stay below the headlines until it’s too late. In fact, two of these disputes have seen shots fired in recent years – and it could happen again.
